Biography

I am a maker who came to study (BA Hons) Design for Theatre and Live Performance. I have developed skills in construction, scenic painting, and model making, and have discovered new passions such as lighting design. In the past, I have worked in management roles, and through this course, I have also been drawn to stage management and production roles. My main interests for the future are lighting for performance, lighting installations, and design for live music. My favourite project throughout my time at university has been creating a speculative design for a concert at the Motorpoint Arena. This project encouraged us to explore new ideas and methods and has sparked my interest in new technologies and techniques. During my time at Nottingham Trent University, I have been trained in digital skills such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Madmapper. I have taken up model making as a hobby. I have a strong interest in sustainability and hope to incorporate it into all my future work.
